System Updates
- OneUSG Connect Query Listing
- January 21, 2021 Ad hoc Release to resolve a couple of known issues regarding Commitment Accounting cost detail reports:
- Missing Data on FY 2020 Cost Detail Reports Corrected
- NOTE: If users select the current versions of these reports, Monthly Employee Cost Report (BCAR005) or Monthly Project Detail Report (BCAR004), for FY2020 data, reports will only provide FY20 results for Go Live period (April – June 2020)
- There is missing data on the FY2020 cost detail reports. After the ad hoc release the FY2020 cost detail reports should show salary distributions for the full fiscal year. Users running FY2020 data and prior will need to select report/process names Employee Cost Report GT2020 (BCAR005A) or Monthly Project Report GT2020 (BCAR004A) in the Process Scheduler.
- Employee Cost Report or Monthly Project Detail Report Corrected
- When users run the Employee Cost Report or Monthly Project Detail Report, encumbrances for biweekly employees are being reported based on pay period end date rather than accounting period. The code behind the reports has been corrected to join to the pay calendar to derive accounting period based on paycheck payment date rather than pay end date.

Time and Labor/Absence Management Updates
-
When TechWorks is down, employees can still access their Web Clock via https://oneusgconnect.usg.edu/. Select “OneUSG Connect” under Active USG Employee.
-
When OneUSG Connect is down, Web Clock users must track hours worked during the downtime using this document. Once the employee fills out this form, they must submit it to their manager or supervisor. Managers will then need to enter those hours directly onto the timesheet on OneUSG Connect once the system is back up.
- Kaba Clock users must have an up-to-date Buzzcard (blue stripe at the top) in order to report their time.
- Cardholders (faculty/staff/students) who need to get a new card can call 404-894-2899 or email support@buzzcard.gatech.edu, Monday-Friday, 8AM to 5PM, to setup an appointment. There is no charge unless the card has been lost, stolen, or damaged.
- Employees can only be paid if the time is appropriately reported via the time reporting process applicable to the employee (e.g., Online Timesheet, Kaba Clock, Web Clock). Failure to meet standard OneUSG Connect payroll processing deadlines will result in a delay in payment to employees.
